"contact us" link at the bottom of this page, select "Report a
technical problem" as your topic, and type "change adult content" into
the subject box. Complete the question form and, in the details

Replies Disabled After 30 Days

Google Groups has a feature that disables replying to posts older than 30 days:

http://groups.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=1676&topic=250

Can I reply to older posts in the archive?

You can reply to any message in Google Groups that was posted in the last 30 days. After 30 days, the option to post a reply to the message is removed. In Usenet proper, articles are usually retired (removed completely) if they are inactive for 30 days. Removing the option to post a reply to a message more than 30 days old simulates this feature in Google Groups.

A calendar for you and the world

Posted by Garett Rogers @ 6:45 pm

"Philipp Lenssen has found an article which contains some great sleuthing done by Paul Stone. He has uncovered a link that clearly states a calendar is on the way — and at the same time found a brand new feature Google has been working on. His discovery takes us to a page called "Google Links" where you can personalize a small bar containing links to popular Google services."

Post number function in SUBJECT

Googlegroups now offers the function of adding a post number to the
subject prefix.

http://groups.google.com/group/GROUPNAME/manage_post

Subject Prefix
The prefix will be added to all messages posted to the group. We
recommend surrounding the prefix with [ ], or { }. You can have the
prefix include the message number by adding the characters '%d'. Leave
this field blank to have no subject prefix.
