How do I change the adult content setting for my group?

To change your group's adult content setting, please click the
"contact us" link at the bottom of this page, select "Report a
technical problem" as your topic, and type "change adult content" into
the subject box. Complete the question form and, in the details
section, please include the name of your group and why you wish to
change this setting. We'll review your request, and let you know what
we decide.

Replies Disabled After 30 Days

Google Groups has a feature that disables replying to posts older than 30 days:

Can I reply to older posts in the archive?

You can reply to any message in Google Groups that was posted in the last 30 days. After 30 days, the option to post a reply to the message is removed. In Usenet proper, articles are usually retired (removed completely) if they are inactive for 30 days. Removing the option to post a reply to a message more than 30 days old simulates this feature in Google Groups.
